Palestine president Mahmoud Abbas concurred stately welcome by Narendra Modi and Pranab Mukherjee


New Delhi: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was on Tuesday concurred a stately welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here in front of holding chats with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Afterward, Abbas paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.

Outer Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj approached Abbas and talked about issues of two-sided intrigue.

“Strengthening backing to Palestine. Sushma Swaraj approaches President Mahmoud Abbas,” Baglay said.

Abbas will take an interest in assignment—level converses with Modi. The two sides are relied upon to consent to a progression of arrangements.

The meeting President will likewise approach Mukherjee and meet Vice President Hamid Ansari.

The four—day official visit of Abbas comes in front of Modi’s visit to Israel in July. This is the Palestine President’s fifth visit to India and the third state visit after 2008 and 2012.

An assignment involving Palestine Deputy Prime Minister Ziad Abu Amr, Foreign Minister Riad Malki, Diplomatic Advisor Majdi Khaldi, Presidency Spokesperson Nabil Aburdeineh and Palestine’s Chief Judge Mahmoud Habbash is going with Abbas.
