Sheena Bora murder: CBI attaches statement of beauty parlour owner in chargesheet

IN ORDER to prove that the murder of Sheena Bora was a ‘cold blooded one’, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in its chargesheet, has attached the statement of a beauty parlour owner that corroborates the fact that Indrani Mukerjea had taken a “beauty break” a few hours before she allegedly murdered her daughter.

The parlour owner, who has been named as a witness in the chargesheet, says that she had received a call from Indrani around 9am on April 24, 2012 — the day Sheena Bora had been murdered. In her statement, she says that she knew Indrani for nearly 13 to 15 years as the latter was a regular at her parlour. The woman added that Indrani would normally call the landline and take an appointment before coming to the parlour.
